Travel With Me: My Carry-On Essentials

Carry-On Essentials

So many of you may be traveling around, especially since the holiday season is now over, so I decided to do start off my blog with a "Travel With Me" series. Within this series I will be showing you all tips and tricks for traveling whether its by plane or car! Today I will be sharing with you my carry-on essentials and what I find handy to carry along with me right by my seat!

My Carry-On Essentials!

So this may seem like a lot to you, but I think everything shown is very much needed as I travel! Here are
some more close ups of what I take along! :)

I have come up with a few tips for you all to keep in mind as you pack!

TIP #1

You know those little annoying plastic clips that attempt to hold you bread bags closed? Well, if you have any lying around you can use them to hold any cords, such as chargers or headphones, together! Just roll them up and secure the cord with the plastic clip so that they wont get tangled or stuck! This even works with holding hair ties and headbands as well!

TIP #2

Nobody wants their expensive electronics to get lost or cracked, Right? So how about investing in some protective covers and a small pouch that can hold your electronics and chargers. The pink bag shown in the second picture is from Ikea and it was only $3.00! PS. The book is called "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan!

TIP #3

When it comes to carrying along makeup, just pack light! Here I have "Maybelline New York Dream Matte Powder" to control the oils on my face. You can also carry around a pack of oil blotting sheets BUT in case you don't own any just roll up a few sheets of toilet paper and blot on your oily areas! Next I have "Maybelline New York Concealer" to help cover any annoying acne or redness that I may not want the public to see, haha. For Mascara I have the "Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara," (This is the waterproof formula!) and if you apply close to the roots of your lashes is gives the illusion that your wearing eyeliner, when your really not! To make sure my lips are not chapped I like to bring along "Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm." I am in LOVE with this lip balm, its refreshing and cooling on my lips and it makes them feel super hydrated! And if you want to add some color to your lips, then Lip Butters can be your new travelling buddy! Here I have "Elf Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Pink Umbrellas." This can also act as a cream blush if you apply a small amount to the apples of your cheeks for a natural look! I also like to have a hand sanitizer at hand in case I don't have access to a sink and soap. This is Bath & Body Works "Winter Candy Apple Hand Sanitizer." Just so I have everything contained, I like to keep my hair ties, headbands, bobby pins, and clips in the same bag as my makeup!

Here are some extra things I like to also have with me!

Sunglasses: American Eagle
Also remember a case so they don't get broken!
-Neck Pillow
-Navy Sweater: Forever 21
-Bow Socks: Forever 21
-Eye Mask
